If you feel that you were ticketed in error or that extenuating circumstances existed, you may file an appeal with University Police and Public Safety.
The Appeals Committee will consider your ticket history when making its decision. ALL APPEALS DECISIONS ARE FINAL. Appeals without merit will be rejected.
To file an appeal:
- Submit the online Parking Violation Appeal form within 20 calendar days.
- Submit a copy of the parking ticket along with a check or money order (payable to "The Pennsylvania State University") for the full face value of your ticket. Cash will be accepted only if you pay in person. (If the appeal is decided in your favor, the face value of the ticket will be promptly refunded.)
- Return parking ticket, and payment within 20 calendar days to:
Office of Safety and Police, 209 Commons/Athletic Center.
You will be notified of the appeals committee's decision by email.
