Penn State Brandywine offers many special programs that enhance the educational experience.
Brandywine Global Programs
Brandywine Global Programs are available to students throughout the University. Courses can be taken here at the Brandywine campus, and students at other locations may complete the work through distance learning. The courses culminate with short-term study abroad experiences.
Honors Program
Our Honors Program provides accelerated academic, research and service-learning projects for qualified and highly motivated students. Student scholars may begin and graduate from Penn State Brandywine's Jane E. Cooper Campus Honors Program and Schreyer Honors Program.
Undergraduate Research
Penn State Brandywine is proud of its commitment to engage all students in significant Undergraduate Research projects. Students collaborate with their faculty and peers, and frequently present at local, regional and national conferences.
New Student Orientation
The New Student Orientation program is required of all first-year students. Students beginning their studies in the fall will be assigned an Orientation day the summer preceding, and students beginning in January will be assigned a date before their classes begin.
Multilingual Student Course Cluster
The Multilingual Student Course Cluster is a program for non-native speakers of English. It is designed to improve academic English reading and writing skills. Participants enroll in a cluster of courses in the first year of college.
ROTC
Army ROTC is an elective course you take in college alongside your prescribed major course of study.
